Interview Tips
Majority of the time, the decision on whether or not you are
hired is based on the results of your interview.

interviewing for – this will also help you prepare any
questions you may have.
- Dress for success –
- For Men: a clean shirt and tie, a dark suit,
polished shoes, face should be clean-shaven, and use
cologne or after-shave sparingly.
- For Women: a business suit, hair and fingernails
should be well groomed, and apply make-up and perfume
moderately.
- Bring at least 1 copy of your
resume, a list of references, a pen and paper to jot
down any information you may need to remember.
- Arrive at least 15 minutes early.
During the
Interview
- As you meet each interviewer, be
courteous, stand-up and greet them with a firm handshake
and a smile.
- Relax.
- Speak positively and confidently
about yourself.
- Have good posture.
- Make good eye contact when speaking with the
interviewer(s).
- Ask questions to find out more about the company and
the position.
Ending the
Interview
- End the interview with a firm
handshake.
- Thank the interviewer(s) for their
time.

and find out what the next step in the application
process is.
- Sending a brief “thank you” note to the

skills.
